Tristan,
I found your blog while looking for ideas on how to start my own. I am by no means a professional and by no means wish to critique your site. I really like what you have done here and will follow your reviews. I am just fellow good food lover. I lived in the Dayton area for almost two years and can’t believe how many places you reviewed I never went to! I have to agree with you on Graeter’s… I have been craving their Pumpkin ice cream lately. Nothing like it in Denver! Anyway, if you would be so kind, feel free to offer me some suggestions on my blog. It is pretty new, maybe 3 weeks old now. I wish I had taken pictures of food in Dayton though… City BBQ, Skyline, Marion’s, Donatos… http://satietybymatt.blogspot.com/
Matt, your post is about 2.5 years old by now (1/19/14) and your local King Sooper should carry Graeter’s now. Kroger’s bought King Sooper some time back and in the last couple years have started carrying Graeter’s everywhere they can in their store network.
Took a look around your website, and I have to say it looks like it’s off to a good start! I definitely agree good photography is essential to a review; I feel like it draws the most response from my readers. I’d definitely suggest you keep building your portfolio of reviews, it looks like you’re on the right track! Thanks for looking at my place and let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you!
Thanks! I just approved your blog claim. Now your Urbanspoon profile picture is displayed on your blog page. You can upload a blog-specific photo if you prefer, and can change a few other blog settings there. Also, if you vote for a restaurant that you’ve reviewed on your blog, we now show your vote next to your post everywhere on our site.
Hi there! Recently stumbled upon your blog. Started (last week) a blog (ayamstuffed.wordpress.com) where I plan to write about my culinary experiences and was looking for similar blogs to follow. Hoping to get some inspiration and also improve the way I write about these experiences from your blog. :).
Hi, I’m a food critic myself and I think your reviews are quite outdated! This isn’t helpful to anybody. I suggest you publish a new set of food articles!
Thanks for reaching out! Actually, I continually update the articles with new photos/dishes, especially the older ones. It can be a long process, though, with over 700 places to keep updated. Check the Facebook where updates are posted every day!
Might want to proofread this section my “amateur good critic”
Thanks for pointing that out. Just added this page an hour or so ago.

Any advice for an amateur food blogger?
